PLUSEN was tasked with creating a city sanctuary on a desolate city rooftop, located in the heart of the city along a busy street. The resulting space encompasses views to the city sky line, and to the neighboring American Visionary Art Museum, while maintaining a great sense of privacy and solitude.

Through careful consideration of the placement of various design features, an abundance of spaces have been established with plenty of privacy and shade.  The moments in the landscape include a pergola/lounge, outdoor kitchen and dining table, raised lawn panel and a spa.  From the media lounge, to bocce ball, to a hot tub, our client can relax while taking in the magnificent views the city has to offer, in their own private oasis.
